A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. When the other frog saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. Jadi ceritany nihh udah mau kelar semester 2nyah.. ga berasa... Tpi pas mau UAS gini bukannya kita tenang buat belajar, tapi malahan tugas tiba2 membludag. Tugas kelar satu, tumbuh seribu... kaya yang satu ini, udah mau ujian masih aja dikasih tugas akhir. ISD (Ilmu Sosial Dasar) jadi nni dosen ngasih kita tugas suruh bikin kampanye sesuai sama materi kita pas presentasi. Nahh, akunya kebagian materi tentang kemiskinan nih. Sukur sih, ga susah susah amat. Nyari bahan juga gampang. Kali ini bkan mau mbahas tentang info unik, grammar, english tips, dll, tapi aku mau curhat aja. sejak digital diaryku ga bisa dibuka jadi bingung mau curhat ke mana. SUPPOSE Suppose berarti mengira/mempercayai/membayangkan. Suppose biasa digunakan dalam sebuah permintaan dengan struktur negatif ketika kita berharap mendapatkan jawaban yang positif.  Contoh (1) : I don't suppose you could lend me your dress, could you? | Sure! When do you want to use it?  Arti (1) : Kamu ngga bisa meminjamkan gaunmu ya? | Tentu bisa! Kapan kamu mau pakai?  Contoh (2) : I suppose it's too late to see the doctor now, isn't it? | Hold on. Let me see if I can fit you in.  Arti (2) : Rasanya sekarang sudah terlambat untuk menemui dokter, ya? | Tunggu sebentar. Mungkin saya bisa menyelipkan jadwal Anda. Suppose juga digunakan dalam sebuah jawaban singkat yang mempunyai makna mengira/mempercayai/membayangkan.  Contoh (1) : Will Cynthia be at your house this evening? | I don't suppose so atau I suppose not.  Arti (1) : Apakah Cynthia akan ada di rumahmu sore ini? | Saya rasa nggak. Contoh (2) : Can you come tomorrow? | I suppose so.

Pertama, ‘little’ digunakan u/ uncountable noun sementara ‘few’ u/ countable noun. Kedua, ketika kita menggunakan ‘few’ atau ‘little’ tanpa diawali partikel ‘a’, biasanya kalimatnya berarti negatif. Ketiga, ketika kita menggunakan ‘a few’ atau ‘a little’, kalimatnya mempunyai arti yang positif. Coba lihat kalimat-kalimat berikut. (1) A few of my colleagues turned up for my presentation, I was quite pleased. (1) Arti : Saya senang karena beberapa rekan kerja saya datang untuk melihat saya presentasi. (2) Few of my colleagues turned up for my presentation, I was quite upset. (2) Arti : Saya cukup kesal karena hanya sedikit rekan kerja saya yang datang untuk melihat saya presentasi. (3) I can’t go out in such weather and I have little food in the house. (3) Arti : Saya tidak bisa keluar karena cuaca buruk dan makanan di rumah hampir habis. (4) I can’t go out in such weather, but I have a little bit of food in the house. (4) Arti : Saya tidak bisa keluar karen

Dalam hal ini "very" dan "so" keduanya adverb (kata keterangan) yang jika kita lihat dalam kamus sama-sama berarti: sekali, amat, sangat. Untuk melihat fungsi dan penggunaan masing-masing adverb ini akan kita jelaskan satu per satu, dimulai dengan "very". very Seperti yang sudah dijelaskan, "very" berarti "sangat".
